Biography:

My name is Youhao Jing, born in Tianjin, China. In 1989, I attended Tsinghua University, one of the most prestigious universities in China. I pursued both my Bachelor and Ph.D. ( unfinished for the reason of coming to the USA ) degree from  Dept. of  Thermal Engineering, in a major of Turbomachinary.

After spending six years in Tsinghua university, I realized that I need to go to the USA if I want to do something in my research field. Since then, I began my new journey in this foreign land. My first stop is University of Houston. It is at UH that I got to know about the fascinating Internet and Web technologies. I finally realized this is what I been looking for. Feeling not contented with UH, I began to seek opportunities to better universities. I was so lucky that I got admission from Stanford, Northwest, Purdue and Penn State. I finally choose Penn State since it could offer me the right research topic. Unfortunately, one year later, it turned out that was a bad choice. Finally, I transferred to UC Berkeley and joined Berkeley Expert System Technologies(BEST) Lab, where I started to build both my research and career foundation. After one year and a half hard working, I finished my M.S. and rushed out into the networking industry.

I strongly believe learning and self improvement are lifelong commitment. That is why recently I decided to pursue a computer science master degree at Stanford University
With this opportunity, I shall build a solid foundation for my new adventure.
