As a Graduate Student Researcher, I was responsible for executing several
research operations, as well as, work on several engineering problems in the
Berkeley Expert Systems Laboratory. I developed a multi-media courseware on
various concepts in design and manufacturing operations. I performed research
in design for manufacturabililty, the use of multi-functional teams, and
concurrent engineering to determine their effectiveness in the new product
development process. Other responsibilities included creating, updating, and
maintaining several html world wide web pages for my lab and the college of
engineering. I also worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Mechanical
Engineering 39c class during the fall of 1994 and fall of 1995. I also was able to
get my research paper called "People, Product, and Process" published at the
Frontiers In Education (FIE) Conference during the fall of 1995.
