Facility Engineer
(40 hours a week)

As a facility engineer I provided engineering and technical support to west Texas oil fields. I identified and evaluated "critical fluid handling points" in the oil, water and gas flow process. I developed condition based preventative maintenance programs and guidelines for facility equipment. I set up informational seminars on facility equipment for field technicians. I Analyzed the flow and accident potential in the central tank batteries. I evaluated oil & water storage and settling times in the central tank batteries. I developed accident scenarios and temporary operating procedures for the field technicians and operators. I developed cut off sequences for test sites and tank batteries based on each well's oil/water ratio. I recommend installation of additional facility equipment to facilitate production and to prevent accidents.
