What are the critical factors for your business success?

If I look at competition, how successful a plant can be, there are three critical success factors in my mind. One is the overall performance indicator of the plant. How well it does on quality and service and cost and things like that.

The other factor is the actual perception as you walk through the plant. You are a customer coming through a new facility that you have never seen before, what do you think? Is it clean? Is it neat? Does materi al flow in an appropriate manner? Does it look like they do a quality job? What is the initial perception ? The other key factor is the people. How well the people know the business. How involved are they in th e product and process? Generally do they know why the are there and how they can contribute to serving the customer?
