Product Description:
A system based in software and primarily accessed via a WWW Intranet user-interface that provides a set of users the ability to identify and interact (visual, audio, text media) with visitors to a given facility offering controlled access.

Key Business Goals:

Establish this product as a cost-effective improvement to existing intercom and receptionist based building entry/security solutions. Offer significant value-added to encourage upgrading and new adoption of the system. Achieve a client base of 2 large high-profile companies and several other customers in niche markets.

Target Market for Product:

Companies residing in an office building setting where controlled access is necessary.

    Thousands of professionals and students are re-evaluating their career choices and launching proactive job searches on their own. These candidates need recent and accurate information on the companies and industries that they are targeting. There is a growing opportunity to use the Internet to provide a subscription service to these professionals that will give them the information and contacts that they need to manage their career development and perform successful job searches.

    Many high-tech companies have passed the initial hurdle of developing and releasing new products and are now looking to hire qualified people into key strategic positions. Typically, these entrepreneurial companies do not have the infrastructure or the resources to effectively recruit the high quality candidates that are needed. These companies need an effective forum for communicating with potential candidates to facilitate the recruiting process.

    The Guidefinder

    The guidefinder is a publicly accessible database of fly fishing guides. The database can be searched by consumers, and then used as a method to book dates with guides by leaving an electronic deposit.

  • To begin with, the access to the database will be solely through the Internet.
  • Both customers, guides and end users, will pay for the services ultimately. Some free listings may be necessary to achieve critical mass, however.

    A financial calculator software package for the US Robotics’ Pilot hand-held organizer.
