    PROJECTS DEVELOPED

  • 1991 : Developed a Design for Assembly analysis software for a company called Senco, in Milford, Ohio. Extended the assembly sequence generation algorithm of Whitney and Nevins et al.
  • 1992-93 : Multimedia Case Study on DFM applications in Product Design : The Mattel Color Spin Case Study.Since development used as part of Graduate Course in Engineering Design at Berkeley as well as exhibited at the Smithsonian and Lawrence Hall of Science. Currently on display at NSF Headquarters in Washington.
    Web Version
  • 1993 : Involved in design and development of an indexing scheme for a Multimedia design database "NEEDS" developed at Berkeley as part of the Synthesis Coalition.
  • 1994-96 : Designed, developed and implemented the Concept Database infrastructure as a prototype of a distributed engineering information system.
