I volunteer with the International Institute of the East Bay Richmond Youth Group Program which is an academic mentoring and gang-prevention program. These are some photos that my mentee Chai Choy Sae Phan took in San Francisco. If you have more questions about this program or are interested in volunteering your time for other Asian children, please contact the International Institute or send an e-mail to Carl Nishii.

The first photo is of the mural on Stockton Street in San Francisco Chinatown. We're using this mural as an inspiration for the kids in the Richmond Youth Program to design and draw their own mural at the International Institute office in Richmond.

The second photo is a view from the top of Green Street looking down towards the Embarcadero. In the foreground is Chinatown. In the background, you can see parts of Russian Hill and Coit Tower to the left.

This is a view of the Bank of America and Transamerica Buildings from the Embarcadero.
